Who we are

PlanWorks ("PlanWorks", "we") is an ad-planning platform for freelancers and agencies, available at planworks.ai. For anything in this policy, contact privacy@planworks.ai.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and workspace details you provide when registering.
• Workspace content — clients, plans, campaigns, budgets, notes, and files you or your team enter or upload.
• Connected ad-platform data — when you connect an ad account (for example Meta), we access campaign structure, spend, and performance metrics through that platform's official API, under the permissions you grant during authorization. We never receive your ad-platform password.
• Client portal data — names and contact details of your clients that you enter so they can review and approve plans through a secure link.
• Usage and log data — request logs (IP address, timestamps, correlation identifiers) kept for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To provide the product: planning, forecasting, reporting, and client approval workflows.
• To compute forecasts and benchmarks. Aggregated, anonymized performance patterns across accounts improve forecast quality; no client-identifiable data is ever shown to another workspace.
• To send transactional email (verification, sign-in links, approval notifications). We do not send marketing email without consent.
• To secure and debug the service.

AI features

Some features generate narrative text such as summaries and advice. For these, relevant workspace text is processed by our AI provider, DeepSeek, acting as a data processor. All figures shown in PlanWorks are computed by our own deterministic systems — never by an AI model. Our AI providers are not permitted to train on your data.

Where your data lives

Production data is hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). File storage uses Cloudflare R2 in EU jurisdiction. Transactional email is delivered via Resend in the EU region. Encrypted backups are retained for 7 days.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers named above, with the ad platforms you explicitly connect, and where required by law. Your clients see only what you choose to share with them through the portal.

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion at any time — see Data Deletion. Deletion completes within 30 days, after which data persists only in expiring backups for up to 7 further days.

Ad-platform compliance

Our use of data received from Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat APIs complies with each platform's terms, including Meta's Platform Terms. Disconnecting an ad account stops further collection; you may additionally request deletion of previously synced data.
